Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actor that has won critical acclaim for her skills. Sagittarius born the actress was born on the 3rd of December of 1960 in North Carolina. She's one of the three youngest children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a parachutist. She's English as well as Scottish. Moore's father moved around a lot because of his work. It was difficult for her to make or maintain friendships. Moore started acting in plays at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. Her studies continued in Boston University, graduating in 1983 with an B.F.A. When she graduated, Moore moved to New York, where she began her journey in Off-Broadway Theater. Moore was a graduate of the college at the time of her graduation in New York and started her profession as an off-Broadway actor following her move into New York. She made an appearance on stage as a character in The Edge of Night. In 1986, she was cast in the dual roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes for As the World Turns. It was this role that gave her the break that resulted in her success. She stayed on this show between 1988 and 1990, and was honored with the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut on the screen through Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The critically acclaimed performance of her in short-cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore was offered her first lead role on the screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the most successful films of 1997, was a significant turning point for Moore's career. She received a SAG award for her role in Magnolia. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore has also starred in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film from 2014. Moore has appeared on countless television and film shows. In the most recent, she appeared as the lead character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). Her career as an actress in Hollywood is well established and she is also a published children's novelist. The author also released her book My Mom is a foreigner in the year 2013. Moore is a successful actor and author is also known for making her personal life public. She split from John Robin in 1995.
